Share your experience with ODOC’s new mail rule
The Oregon Department of Corrections introduced new restrictions on sending mail to people in custody from January 2025. The new rule prohibits mail that has drawings or handwriting in colored pencil, marker, or crayon. It prohibits colored paper and paper thicker than standard weight, which excludes greeting cards, postcards, and colored envelopes. We want to hear how you and your loved ones have been affected by these changes.
