Kevin is a formerly incarcerated person who entered corrections at the age of 18 and served 33 years in Oregon. Graduating from the University of Oregon while inside with a double major in Humanities and GSS with a focus on Crime, Law, and Society.
Believing that people can best heal themselves in the context of relationship with others. This included taking a leadership role in creating and/or facilitating dialog groups for Restorative Justice capacity building, addressing toxic gender roles, systemic inequities, and mental health treatment within OSCI. Passionate about where creativity meets life, he believes that people can always grow even as he grew into an adult within corrections. Wearing many hats including diverse artist, software developer, and certified yoga teacher.
